The work of art is the unity of the sensible and understanding. This unit is crystallized, as a global dynamic category in which are growing forces of attraction and rejection as well as in any natural process. We present a theoretical analysis model of the monophony having the objective to uncover the relationships that operate within each syntactic category of music.
